As part of the Vidnyan Dhara Mega Series, an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa, an expert talk on ‘Fascinating World of Enzymes’ was organized by the Research and Development Cell (RDC) CES’s Parvatibai of Parvatibai Chowgule College of arts and Science.
The session was delivered by Prof. Desirazu N. Rao, Raman Research Chair, Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa, and Honorary Professor at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. Prof. Rao is an eminent academician in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology.
During the session, Prof. Rao discussed the fundamental concepts, mechanisms, and applications of enzymes, highlighting their importance in biological systems and modern scientific research. The session was interactive and well-received by students and faculty. Winners of the RDC–IIC Ideation Competition were felicitated during the programme.
