National Cadet Corps (NCC)

Overview

Established in 1948, the National Cadet Corps is the world’s largest uniformed youth organization, embodying the powerful motto, “Unity and Discipline.” As a voluntary tri-services wing of the Indian Armed Forces, it serves as a premier nursery for future leaders, grooming students into patriotic, self-reliant, and selfless citizens.
The greatness of the NCC lies in its transformative impact; it has historically served as the “Second Line of Defence” during national crises and continues to spearhead community development, disaster relief, and adventure activities. By fostering a secular outlook and a spirit of camaraderie, the NCC remains a vital pillar of Indian nation-building.
