I am Ms. Shalma Mascarenhas, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology at Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Margao, Goa. I have over six years of undergraduate teaching experience and one year of experience as a school teacher, which strengthened my classroom management skills and reinforced learner-centred pedagogical practices through my B.Ed training. A distinction holder throughout my academic career, I am deeply committed to fostering a research-oriented mindset among students. I have published research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals and have actively participated in faculty development programmes and academic training initiatives.
