BIO

I am Sanas Shaikh an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), with over 10 years of teaching experience. I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science and M.Sc. in Information Technology from the same institution. I’m passionate about teaching computer science and continuously learning new technologies. I enjoy exploring how emerging tools can make learning more engaging and accessible. I’m always curious about how technology can be used to solve real-world problems and improve the way we learn.

Positions Held Member, Board of Studies – Computer Science, actively involved in syllabus revision and curriculum development, Coordinator for departmental academic and club activities. Invited as a resource person at Rosary college of Commerce and Arts, Navelim (2017) to deliver a talk on “Cloud Computing”.

Accomplishments Cleared State Eligibility Test (SET) in Computer Science and Application, June 2023. Successfully completed a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Generative Artificial Intelligence, gaining hands-on exposure to modern AI techniques and their applications in teaching, learning, and research (2025-2026).
