BIO

I am Poonam M. Joshi, a Goan by birth and upbringing, with a strong academic foundation shaped by excellence and perseverance. I complete my schooling at Mushtifund High School, Panaji, and pursue higher secondary education and graduation from Dhempe’s College. I earn a Gold Medal in Master of Arts in Philosophy from Goa University, reflecting my commitment to critical thinking and scholarly rigor. I further strengthen my academic profile with a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from IGNOU. In a notable achievement, I successfully clear both NET and SET examinations in the same year, on my second attempt.

Activities Organized:

Library and Information Science organized online quiz on the occasion of 60th Goa Liberation Day on the theme "Know your Goa." On 19-12-2021 to 20-12-2021.
Organized Book Exhibition on the occasion of 60th Goa Liberation Day, on the theme “Books on Goa” from 18/12/2021 to 23/12/2021.
Organized Book Fair 10/01/2022 to 12/01/2022.
Talk on use of Library Services for the TY students
Donated books to Vadem Nagar Higher Secondary School, Vadem Vasco, on 3-06-2023. Total numbers of 430 books were donated.
On occasion of Independence Day, College Library organized online Poster Making competition for Students of Parvatibai Chowgule College on the Theme “Nation First Always First.
The College Library organized a Book Exhibition on the theme "Books on Goa" from 18/12/2023 to 23/12/2023 in the Library Reading room, marking Goa Liberation Day.
Book fair was organized by College Library on 24/01/2024 to 25/01/2024.
