BIO

Finoshka Rodrigues is an avid reader, writer, theatre kid, poet.
She is an alumni of Parvatibai Chowgule College, a double major in English and Psychology and has secured a Masters in English Literature and Language and she is  currently teaching at Parvatibai Chowgule College since 2023 in the PG English programme, prior to that, She was teaching in Rosary college of Commerce and Arts from 2022-2023 and taught English , computational learning and coding in an online school,21K school (British, Indian and American curriculum) She is a researcher, educator and has presented research papers at state, national and international level. She has been published in various journals and has organised, judged, and also had her students participate for events and was the host of Goa’s first poets and writers meet.

Accomplishments
  • Third place for Slam Poetry for Literati organized by Department of English by Parvatibai Chowgule College on February 2019.
  • Second place for Meme Mania organized by Department of English by Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre for Rendezvous 2017.
  • Published research papers on various topics in Bangalore, Bombay, Florida and Goa.
  • President, Secretary, and treasurer of various clubs, such as Club Carpe Diem, Speakers Club, Debate Club.
  • Participated in various state and national level sports events.
  • Attended various, state, national and international conferences.
  • Organized various college events as the event head and main organizer, namely The Bard by the Mandovi, Pegasus, Tathastu.

  • Presented a paper at the Cluster Universities of Jammu at a three-day International conference on Language, Literature and Folklore from 28th January to 30th January 2023. 
  • Presented Paper for the 7th South Asia Media & Cultural Studies Conference in Florida. 
  • Presented at the international conference for BlueCrest University college, Liberia & research India foundation (rif), India for advances in language, literature and culture studies on 14-15 august 2022.
