Dr. Sanjay D. Gaikwad has over two decades of academic, research, and consultancy experience in Geography with specialization in Remote Sensing and GIS. His research contributions focus on land use dynamics, carbon sequestration, mangrove ecosystems, climate change, agricultural sustainability, and geospatial applications for environmental management. He is a recognized Ph.D. guide of Goa University and has served as Principal Investigator for several UGC, AICTE, DST, ISRO, and GIPARD-sponsored research and training projects. He has actively contributed to curriculum development, faculty training, student mentoring, and interdisciplinary research initiatives.
