I am Dr. Lactina Gonsalves, teaching chemistry at Chowgule College for the last 12 years. After completing my graduation in Chemistry from Carmel College, I joined Goa University and obtained my Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry, followed by my PhD in the same discipline with specialization in Solid-State and Materials Chemistry. The title of my thesis is “Synthesis, Characterization and Solid State Studies Of Co-Zn And Co-Ni Ferrites: A Comparative Study of the Bulk with the Nano”. I have published my research and have also presented the papers in various conferences.
