Mr. Ian Barreto is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science with over three decades of teaching and academic experience. His primary areas of expertise include application design and software development. His academic interests span programming, data structures, database management systems, software design, web technologies, and mobile application development.

He holds and has held several key academic and administrative positions at the institutional level, including IQAC Coordinator, Controller of Examinations, and Coordinator for the Implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) at the institutional level. He served as the Head of the Department of Computer Science for over a decade, during which he envisioned and initiated the MSc (IT) programme.
