Cosfest Goa –  An All Goa Cosplay Event

For the last three years, the department has organized Cosfest Goa, an event born out of our Visual Literature course and an outcome of the Study tour taken to Mumbai Comic Con. Students organize this All-Goa event open to families and the public, as an extension activity, where they apply their knowledge and love of popular culture in an enjoyable and visually appealing event. This event has been covered extensively in Goan dailies.

Club Carpe Diem – poets and writers club

First started in 2010, as a circle of a few students sharing their poems, and written works, Club Carpe Diem, grew to its largest by 2020 with over a 100 registered members, and audiences of 120 to 140 listening to poems, stories and an assortment of creative works!

Talking Tree Series

These are a series of lecture series, meet and greets, discussion forums etc. where students meet various eminent personalities from literary and academic fields.
