I am Mitzy Savia Crasto, a psychology enthusiast with over five years of experience in the field of teaching. Psychology is a subject very close to my heart, and I have always been deeply passionate about understanding human behavior and mental well-being.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts from Rosary College and pursued my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from St. Xavier’s College. Since then, I have been actively involved in teaching, striving to bring clarity, relevance, and real-world perspectives into the classroom. My academic interests include Clinical Psychology, Social Psychology, Child Psychology, and Cognitive Psychology.
I am dedicated to promoting psychological well-being through education and believe in a teaching approach that emphasizes strong subject knowledge while fostering critical thinking, research skills, and professional competence among students. In addition to teaching, I am actively engaged in departmental initiatives and student mentorship, contributing to the academic growth of students and the overall development of the institution.

- Completed a 30 hours Certificate course in ‘Counselling Skills’ conducted by the Abbe Faria Post-Graduate Department of Psychology at St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa.
- Participated and completed 6 hours orientation training on Universal treatment Curriculum approved by Colombo Plan Advisory Programme at Dale View Care Point (Enhanced Substance Use Disorder Treatment Centre), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
- Attended the 27th Bombay Psychological Association Multidisciplinary National Conference on ‘Cultural Symbiosis: Psycho-social Perspectives & Challenges
- Participated in the Panel Discussion on ‘Working together to create awareness on sexual violence amongst children: Know it to fight it organized by Rosary College of Commerce and Arts, Navelim.
- Participated in the State Level Workshop titled ‘Youth as Ambassadors of Mental Health’ organized by Vasant Joshi College of Arts and Commerce.
- Participated in one day workshop on ‘Neuropsychological basis of Mental Health’ organized by Psychopark (the first Psychological theme park in the
