Overview
The Club System of Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science (Autonomous) provide a structured platform for students to engage in co-curricular and extracurricular activities alongside academic pursuits. It encourages holistic development by promoting leadership, teamwork, discipline, and skill enhancement. Operating under defined governance guidelines, clubs function with student leadership under faculty and institutional supervision. The system facilitates participation in intramural, intercollegiate, outreach, cultural, sports, and skill-based activities, ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective utilisation of resources. Through this framework, the club system nurtures student initiative while aligning activities with the educational vision and policies of the College.
Objectives
- To promote holistic development of students through structured co-curricular and extracurricular engagement.
- To identify and nurture leadership, organisational, and teamwork skills among students.
- To provide opportunities for skill development, creativity, physical fitness, and community engagement.
- To encourage student participation in intra-college, intercollegiate, and outreach activities.
- To ensure systematic governance, accountability, and transparency in student-led activities.
- To align club activities with institutional policies, academic goals, and student welfare initiatives.
- To foster a sense of responsibility, discipline, and institutional belonging among students.
