We are proud to inform you that our men’s powerlifting team won the Team Championship at the Inter-Collegiate Powerlifting Championship 2025 – 26 securing 2 individual gold medals in the process at Jubilee Hall, Goa University held from 6 to 9 January, 2025.
Mr. Pushpraj Dilip Naik (SY B.Sc. Botany-Chemistry) won Gold Medal in the up to & including 120 kg category, lifting a total of 580 kg and qualifying for the Inter-University Championship.
Mr. Melysunn Sunny Reevs (FY B.A. Philosophy) won Gold Medal in the above 120 kg category, lifting a total of 525 kg, also qualifying for the Inter-University Championship.
The team comprised of Garv Prabhu Gaonkar, Melysunn Sunny Reevs, Tanishq Singh, Sourabh Subhash Raikar and Pushpraj Dilip Naik.
