BIO

I am a Geologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology with a strong background in mineral exploration and mining. Prior to entering academia, I worked in the mining industry with Vedanta Limited, for nearly a decade, with significant experience in iron ore exploration, geological modelling, and resource estimation. This industry exposure enables me to bring practical, field-based insights into the classroom. My research interests focus on iron ore geology and sustainable mining practices.

Additionally, my experience with Integrated Management Systems and auditing frameworks in quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety systems supports the development of industry-ready graduates with strong professional and ethical values.
