I am Plency Fernandes, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Goa. I was born and brought up in Goa. I completed my schooling at Pope John XXIII High School and my higher secondary education at Pope John XXIII Higher Secondary School, Quepem. I pursued my undergraduate studies at the Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Quepem, and completed my Master’s degree in Botany from Goa University. I am M-SET qualified and focus on experiential learning, sustainability, applied botany, and student-centred teaching.
