BIO

Ms. Gauri Anil Nadkarni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marathi at Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts & Science (Autonomous), Margao-Goa, with a keen interest in language, literature, and creative expression. She is actively involved in academic and literary pursuits that encourage meaningful engagement with Marathi language and culture. Having been closely associated with cultural activities from an early stage, she places strong emphasis on student participation in literary and cultural platforms as a means of building confidence and individuality. Along with teaching, she contributes to writing and translation work and has published articles, poems, short stories, and book reviews in various newspapers and literary forums. Her classroom practices focus on encouraging thoughtful discussion, clear expression, and the application of literature to everyday life. Through a supportive and student-oriented approach, she aims to create an inclusive learning environment that nurtures creativity, communication skills, and overall personality development.

  • Recipient of Late Shree Bhaskar Laxmidhar Bhandare Prize for securing highest marks in Marathi at the B.A. Examination.
  • Recipient of Bharatkar Hegde Dessai Pratishthan Prize for highest marks in Marathi at Government College Quepem.
  • Winner and prize recipient in various academic, literary, and creative competitions at state and institutional levels.
