BIO

I, Dr. Roopa S. Belurkar is an Associate Professor in Chemistry with 24 years of teaching experience and currently serving as the Head of the Department of Chemistry. I have also held the position of Chairperson of the Board of Studies and have contributed as the Editor of the college magazine, Vidya. I completed my schooling at St. Michael Convent School, Dandeli, obtained undergraduate degree from Bangur Nagar Degree College, Dandeli, and earned Master’s degree and Ph.D. from Karnataka University, Dharwad.

Positions Held Currently I’m heading the department of chemistry. Earlier I have also worked as the convener for Women Welfare & SC/ST students Welfare Committee and Students’ Scholarship Committee.
