BIO

FIP under tenth plan of UGC to complete Ph. D. Awarded Ph. D. in the subject of Konkani by Goa University in 2008.

Accomplishments

Ex-Dean - Faculty of Languages and Literature, Parvatibai Chowgule College
Worked as BOS Member in the subject of Konkani at Goa University.
Selected by Official Language Cell, Govt. of Goa to impart training to the Goa Government employees from Salcete Taluka for the effective implementation of the use of official language in day to day administration.
Worked as Resource Person for Language Normalization at Central Institute of Indian Language,Mysore.
Coordinator of Community Outreach Programme and Chalo School Mega Drive.
Member of Editorial Board of Goa Secondary and Higher Secondary Board of Education for preparing Konkani Text Books for std. ninth and tenth.
Member of Board of Directors of the Madgaum School Complex Co-operative Society of teaching and nonteaching staff members from Salcete Taluka continuously for 3 terms 2009 to 2014, 2015 to 2020, 2021 till 2026.
Visited Japan to attend JALT Conference, delivered lecture at Kyoto University on the topic “How to live in India, A multi linguistic society: A special Focus on Media Experiences”. While in Japan visited educational institutions and autonomous administrative bodies working for the community outreach programs. Have a strong desire to inculcate sense of discipline among children and through them facilitate the process of change in the mindset of their parents.
Closely associated with underprivileged children form Government schools since 2012 and is organizing skill development activities, trains students for Javahar Navodaya Entrance Examination.
Organized awareness programs for the Municipality Workers and Teachers at various levels.
Recognized as National Trainer for local self Government and State Resource Person of Goa Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development. Conducting lectures for newly recruited Government officers of Goa Government.
Visited Malaysia in May- June 2017 along with three volunteers of Chalo School Mega Drive to study road traffic management system and household and commercial waste management in Malaysia.
