BIO

I am Dr. Uma Masur is an Associate Professor of Botany at Parvatibai Chowgule College, Margao, Goa, with expertise in plant tissue culture, phytochemistry, and medicinal plants. She holds a Ph.D. from Goa University on Tylophora species and has completed UGC-funded research projects on bioactive compounds and vector control. Dr. Masur has published research papers, a book, and a book chapter, and has presented her work at national and international conferences. She actively guides undergraduate research, provides consultancy on biodiversity and medicinal plants, and contributes to biodiversity initiatives in Goa. Her work integrates teaching, research, and community-oriented environmental conservation.
